We have no political or religious affiliations
The Lions are about working together to improve the lives of others, but here at the Abingdon Lions we also believe it is important to have a good time while doing it. We meet every month to discuss important things, such as who we are going to help. However, throughout the year we do a number of social meetings too.
Everyone over 18 is welcome
We would love for you to join us
If you would like to join us, then please contact Richard to discuss it. As the Abingdon Lions is a club we do have a membership charge, for £20 every 6 months but only once you have become a full member.

Becoming a member
Once you have contacted us- we will get back to you.
You then can meet with one or two of us to talk about how it all works and what we do.
Or
You can attend one of our meeting. Each new member has 3 meeting to decide if they would like to become full members.
We would ask you to consider becoming a ‘friend’ of Abingdon Lions first to see if you enjoy it and if you have the time to commit. This would allow you to join in most things and get to know how things work, along with getting to know the other members.
Ideal we would like you to attend all meeting and some events but we do understand that might not be possible.
After you have become a member you will be given the opportunity to be mentored by another member
