A husband, a father, a grandfather and a dear friend
Frank lived his life to the very fullest, and just as he wanted to, right the way through. In recent years he’d travelled again to Italy, where he’d visited many times with Maureen; he now went to study Art History. And he’d made it to Russia too, which he’d studied so extensively, and for so long, from a distance. Frank was so proud to have graduated with his second Open University Degree, in Art History, on his 82nd birthday. And he was so proud to have been complemented on his German accent on the Twinning trip to Seesen, just a few weeks ago.
Frank was a natural and proud member of the Twinning Associations in both Abingdon and Wantage for many years. He used to really, really look forward to the next Twinning trip to Germany or France, where he’d made another great set of friends. Frank also took great pride in his work with his friends in the Abingdon Lions, and was so honoured to serve as Lions’ President – of course he loved the International Lions Conventions abroad
